Alan Redstone is a psychotherapist whose mission is to assist in the personal transformation of individuals, as well as the greater global community. World peace will not happen until each and every individual finds inner peace. While world peace may be an illusive and seemingly impossible goal, inner peace for any individual is certainly possible and attainable. And like the starfish story, we save as many souls as possible, one soul at a time.
Alan is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI). Alan received his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology in 2006 from Argosy University (San Francisco Bay campus). Previous internship experience includes hospice work, drug and alcohol counseling, and working with emotionally disturbed children. After getting licensed, Alan plans on going into private practice, specializing in individual and group trainings and retreats.
In his spare time, Alan reads, writes, attends professional psychology seminars and conferences, meditates, skiis, rides his dirt bike, does home improvements, plays his guitar, and even watches TV.
Alan is currently working on a new CD of inspirational healing songs. He is also writing a book about self-love and self-acceptance.
For thirty five years, Alan was a professional singer-songwriter-musician-comedian-entertainer who performed as a one-man-band at over 200 Fairs and Festivals all over the United States. Alan has also had earlier jobs in sales and marketing.
